Oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) are purified by using concentrated acid mixture. The oxidized MWCNTs are shorter in length, have higher oxygen content. Excess metals that may come from the synthesis process are also removed. UP Catalyst MWCNTs have high purity, thermal and electrical conductivity.

The application fields of MWCNTs:

  • catalysts or catalyst carriers in energy conversion systems;
  • electrodes for batteries;
  • additives in polymers/composites;
  • water filtration membranes;
  • etc.

Keep only in the original closed container in a dedicated place. Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Provide adequate ventilation to minimize dust concentrations. Keep away from open flames and high temperature.

Contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of dust must be avoided under all circumstances. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Wash hands with soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking, applying cosmetics, or using toilet facilities.
