Nitrogen-doped graphene is produced by employing simple pyrolysis method of biomass. This method allows to turn waste biomass (wood chips) into value-added carbonaceous materials. As a result, we have developed a material that possesses graphene-like structure and high specific surface area.

The application fields of graphene:

  • catalyst or catalyst carriers in energy conversion systems;
  • electrodes for batteries;
  • electrodes for supercapacitors;
  • etc.
