Nitrogen-doped graphene-like carbon is produced by employing simple pyrolysis method of biomass. This method allows to turn waste biomass (wood chips) into value-added carbonaceous materials. As a result, we have developed a material that possesses graphene-like structure and high specific surface area.

The application fields of graphene-like carbon:

  • catalyst or catalyst carriers in energy conversion systems;
  • electrodes for batteries;
  • electrodes for supercapacitors;
  • etc.

Safety

Keep only in the original closed container in a dedicated place. Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Provide adequate ventilation to minimize dust concentrations. Keep away from open flames and high temperature.

Contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of dust must be avoided under all circumstances. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Wash hands with soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking, applying cosmetics, or using toilet facilities.
